Diamonds are of course in more than 300 different colors to find in the colors red, orange, yellow, blue, pink, green, white, brown, and of course black. In fact, diamonds are found in the greatest number of shades of each gemstone. All natural colored fancy are incredibly rare in comparison to the otherwise colorless or white gemstone. And that makes them substantially more expensive.
Like all the colorful fantasies, a natural black diamond has the same crystal structure and chemicalFeatures like a white. It is made of crystalline carbon, and is the hardest natural substance known to mankind. This means that they are not cut or scratched, harder than by a diamond. However, making the inclusions and impurities within the structure of a black diamond, it contained rather to break and shatter during cutting than their white counterparts, even though blacks tend to be harder cut once.
The natural color of the black comes from countless microscopicSmoky coal particles of graphite, hematite and magnetite, which were trapped in the crystal lattice structure of the gem during its formation. Because they are an integral part of the lattice structure, these particles are known as inclusions, not contamination. High concentrations of inclusions cloud form the diamond. They absorb light and give the gem of black metallic look and intense shine.
Because their deep color comes from inclusions, instead of impurities, what to produce highly localized color distortions, only to all the black diamonds are opaque. However, to do semi-transparent and translucent gemstones, if found and form, they will be very valuable, yes.
Natural Blacks were discovered and mined in Australia, parts of Africa and in Venezuela and Brazil. Surprisingly, however, they are assumed to be well over 3000000000 years old! This is surprising because it means black diamonds are much older than white, whichonly about 1000000000 years old! How this happened is unclear. But meteor impacts, are now thought eruptions have played a role in the formation of natural blacks, which were subsequently brought volcanic surface of the earth!
Because of its rarity, most black diamonds have been used in contemporary jewelry improved. The enlargement process, which mimics the natural formation of the gem makes a great cut samples of intense heat and radiation. Thisintensified and darkened its natural colors and produces elegant black diamonds!
With its elegant appearance, rarity and mysterious air to make a sensational piece of Black Diamond addition to any jewelry wardrobe, especially if you opt for a diamond ring, looking a little different!
