It happened again! I am sitting around struggling to come up with an idea to write an article about. All of a sudden, I get a spammy email telling me how I can get huge amounts of traffic for my business opportunity.

Many of the emails I get trying to sell me business opportunity leads are so hokey, I just have to have fun with them.

While I attempt to poke fun at these lead selling scammers trying to part innocent people from their hard earned money, I hope someone new to network marketing will see and read this. If it prevents even one honest person from becoming a victim of these con artists, it's worth it.

Heck, it's worth it anyway because I enjoy pouncing on ludicrous claims by ignorant people. When I was new to network marketing, I did purchase a parcel of leads. It was a long time ago and I can't remember the details. I do remember that I had zero success. I think it is easy to fall for scams when you are desperate to make money. Either that or you are just starting out with a home based business and just don't know any better.

In this case, the lead selling scammers name is "Janet". Janet is telling me I can get a whopping 75,000,000 million of "targeted" prospects each and every month. There is no mention of cost in this particular email and I don't want to click on her link. If I land on her web site, she would then have my IP address. (Lord knows what I would get bombarded with once that happened!) She goes on to say that the opt-in rate is 100%.

First of all, the majority of scam emails I get usually come from men. In this case, it is a woman. Just goes to show that all people no matter what, are created equal. Unfortunately in this case, it is in poor taste while lacking morality.

So...If I purchase 75,000,000 million email addresses at a 100% opt-in rate...What would that do for me?

I would be a freaking billionaire no matter what I am selling . Because I am very greedy, I purchase 10 times that amount every month. In less than 1 year, I will have contacted every person on the planet. By that time, I am a gazillionaire...richest person on the planet.

I have a plan and I am serious about this. Janet would have me so filthy rich, I could hire millions of people to work for me and actually pay them good money. Everyone on the planet would have a job and the world economy would be at ease. Instead of buying a tiny island (like everyone talks about having if they get rich), I would use my millions of employees to dredge up and create a new continent in the ocean. I found a good spot between Australia and the southwestern portion of the United States in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

I would probably make myself king or something like that.

Once I build my continent and develop the land, think about how much money I would make in real estate!

All I can say is "Thank You Lead Selling Scammer!"

No matter what your level of experience is in working a home based business, never ever buy leads for your business opportunity. There are good honest and ethical ways to obtain traffic for your web site. I think buying leads is never a good idea.
